The Returning Service Member Care Program
Island Park Chiropractic has instituted a program of free care for our veterans returning from recent overseas military service in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Here is how it works: any member of any branch of the armed forces who is on active duty or who has separated from active duty within the last 6 months can qualify. To be eligible for free care, the service member or veteran must have served a tour of duty in either of the current theaters of operation, Iraq or Afghanistan.
This program has been started to honor and help support returning soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines as they integrate back into civilian life or if they are visiting on leave from active duty. The duration of care will last for 6 months from the time a veteran initially comes into Island Park Chiropractic and will include all necessary in-office diagnostics and Chiropractic treatments absolutely free.
Having served in the military himself, Dr. Rodney Walton believes this program will help returning veterans as they reestablish their civilian lives. Doctors of Chiropractic currently treat service members of all branches at 58 different military posts. This program will help veterans leaving the military receive continued care for Spine and Nervous System related problems that they otherwise might not obtain.
If you or someone you know meets the criteria, please call Island Park Chiropractic at 541-747-4555 to schedule an appointment.
